New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program offers rebates of the purchase price for Energy Efficient Clothes Washers, Clothes Dryers, and Refrigerators.  In order to qualify, specific makes and models must match the list maintained by the Bureau of Public Utilities.  Rebates for appliances range from $50 – $100.  The current program requires qualifying purchases to be made by March 31, 2015 to have a completed application submitted no later than April 30, 2015.

Visit http://www.njcleanenergy.com for the list of qualifying appliances, rebate applications, and more information.

You may also note, on this website there  are additional rebates available for home heating and cooling systems. These rebates can reach up to $1,000 for a complete home heating and cooling system.  In addition, there is a whole house assessment that may qualify for up to $5,000 in financial incentives.

Rebates under this program are not linked to the individual’s NJ Income Tax Return.  Each rebate has restrictions.  Expect to wait up to 120 days for receipt of the rebate.
