Congratulations to Laura Atwell, CPA, RMA, PSA, Manager in our Governmental Entity Group, for becoming a Registered Municipal Accountant! We are proud to have her on our BKC Team!  

This certification is issued from the New Jersey State Board of Accountancy and requires extensive knowledge of governmental accounting & auditing practices, rules, regulations, and passing the arduous RMA Exam.  Laura’s credentials exhibit her superior knowledge, training and experience in this specific sector.

Laura joined BKC, CPAs, PC in 2016 and has over 10 years of experience in public accounting. Laura specializes in governmental accounting and auditing for municipalities, school districts, authorities, and other special districts. Additionally, she performs accounting and auditing for private schools for students with disabilities, not-for-profit organizations, and has assisted with various fraud and litigation engagements.
