BKC, CPAs, PC is pleased to announce that Tina Peckman, SHRM-SCP has joined the firm as Human Resources Director. Tina’s responsibilities encompass employee relations and benefits administration, including firm culture, DEI strategy, policies, programs and compliance, as well as talent management.
Prior to joining BKC, Tina served as Senior Director at ExtensisHR leading a team that supported over 25,000 employees and partnered with clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500, across multiple industries. Bringing 20 years’ experience as an entrepreneur gives Tina a unique perspective on the needs of our clients here at BKC, as well as the work required to support them. Understanding the impact HR has on an organization has been a career-spanning passion for Tina and she is happy to bring that to BKC.
Tina is an active member of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Managers) as well as a Senior Certified Professional with SHRM. The SCP designation is a significant achievement within the human resources field. Additionally, Tina holds her Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace certification from University of South Florida. A life-long learner, Tina stays current in the most recent legislation, compliance, HR standards, and culture in the workplace.
